Tecumseh UMC Employment   Tecumseh United Methodist Church has openings for one position - Nursery Attendant for Sunday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon beginning immediately.  The job description follows.  If you are interested, please call the church office at 785-379-5005 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon Monday through Friday.   Nursery Attendant   Position Purpose         Provide appropriate care and supervision for children - infancy through age 6.  According to the United Methodist Church policy on protection of children and youth, a second adult will be present at all time to work with the nursery attendant.   Requirements         A desire and talent for working with children.  Prior experience is                desirable.         Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age.         United Methodist Church Child and Youth Protection training.         Current CPR and First Aid training.         Hiring will be contingent on trainings being completed within 30 days.   Accountability         Works with and reports to the Staff/Parish Relations Committee.         Consultation with and/or performance reviews will be held with the Staff/Parish Relations Committee annually or as mutually agreed upon.   Principle Duties        Time: Sunday 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon         If no children are present in the nursery during Sunday School time then the attendant shall help in children's Sunday school.         The nursery will be tidied before leaving for the day.         Appropriate care of children and infants.         In case of medical emergency.  Appropriate intervention: Apply First Aid, notify parents, dial 911 when necessary.
