TUMW’s big event each year is the Fall Festival and Bazaar held on November 14 from 9 AM until 2:30 PM. For this event, apple dumplings are prepared and sold in addition to a craft room, Sweet Shop, Grandma’s Attic, and a meal of either vegetable soup or chili.
November 16 - Thanks for Giving Dinner 6:30 PM in Fellowship Hall.
TUMW routinely serves at receptions for anniversaries, weddings, and other special occasions as well as funeral dinners for members and friends of the congregation.
There are four groups of ladies who serve dinners for the Tecumseh Kiwanis Club which meets at our church each Wednesday evening.
TUMW participates in the UMW Reading Program and keeps our church library stocked with the latest recommended book titles. The library is available for all to read.
Each year our studies for circle meetings are chosen from the program book published by the Women’s Division of the General Board of Global Ministries. Other resources are Response magazine, New World Outlook magazine, the Interpreter and the Prayer Calendar.
TUMW’s goal is to further missions here and abroad. We are committed to spreading the Good News as we each witness to our faith and share in the ministry of others through our pledges and our mission offerings. For more information, please contact Virginia Martinson, 233-9875.
