Prayers

Prayer is the song we sing in our hearts, the hope we keep in our minds, and the music of our souls. With prayer, we can overcome all hardships and find joy. We can overcome difficulty and find salvation. Come and pray with us. Discover the power that is inside of you, waiting to be set free.

We invite you to explore the tranquil grounds of Tecumseh UMC and discover the sacred serenity of the Prayer Labyrinth nestled on the north side of the building. Step into a realm of contemplation and reflection as you embark on your faith journey through this beautifully crafted labyrinth.

It is through this synergy of talents and resources that we become integral to a thriving community, reflecting God's love and experiencing the joy of generosity.

Youth Group

Youth Ministry at Tecumseh UMC provides a welcoming and supportive environment for young people within the church and the wider community. Guided by dedicated leaders, the youth group engages in various activities that promote personal growth, spiritual development, and meaningful connections. Through discussions, games, and service projects, participants explore their faith, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong friendships. The Sunday evening meetings serve as a time for reflection, fellowship, and shared experiences, allowing the youth to connect their faith to real-life situations. Service

Service is a transformative expression of faith that positively impacts both our spiritual journey and the church community. Through acts of compassion and selflessness, we deepen our connection with God and foster a sense of empathy for others. Engaging in service allows us to make a meaningful difference, offering support and spreading positive change within the church and the wider community.

Harvesters/

Back Snack Program

Harvesters' BackSnack program is a lifeline for schoolchildren facing food insecurity over the weekend. Each week, these resilient young individuals receive a specially prepared backpack filled with nourishing and child-friendly food. With over 100,000 children in Harvesters' service area relying on free and reduced-price school meals during the week, the BackSnack program ensures they don't go hungry during weekends. This impactful initiative operates through a collaboration between Harvesters, participating schools, and local community partners, typically corporate, civic, or religious organizations. Harvesters provides the essential food supplies and backpacks, while the community partners assist in collecting the BackSnack kits and distributing them to schools. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these children and combating weekend hunger head-on.

Witness

Witnessing, both within and outside the church, holds the power to positively impact individuals and communities. Through authentic sharing of our faith, we become living testimonies of God's grace and goodness. Within the church, witnessing fosters unity and inspiration, while outside the church, it offers hope and invites others to experience transformative love. Our witness contributes to a more compassionate and connected world.
